24/7 emergency call-out

Emergency plumber in Leeds, any hour of the night

If water is coming in and you need someone now, stop reading and ring us. We answer the phone at 3am the same way we answer it at 3pm.

Before we arrive

Three things to do while you wait

Most of the damage happens in the first twenty minutes. These steps buy you time — ring us first and you can do them while we are on our way.

1. Turn the water off

Find the internal stopcock — usually under the kitchen sink — and turn it clockwise. If it is seized, do not force it until you have spoken to us.

2. Switch the heating off

If the leak is on a heating pipe or radiator, turn the boiler and heating off so the system stops pushing hot water around.

3. Keep water away from electrics

If water is anywhere near sockets, lights or the consumer unit, isolate that circuit if it is safe to do so — and tell us when you ring.

Right now is the worst time for it. Ring us.

24 hours a day, seven days a week, all over Leeds. We will tell you honestly how soon we can be there.

The plumber fixed a leaking trap and shut-off valve underneath my kitchen sink. It was an emergency job and he came straight away at 21:00 in the evening. He was prompt in attending my call and offered a professional service at a fair price. We will definitely be calling plumber to the rescue back again to assist with the installation of our dishwasher.

Had a great experience and would 100% recommend! We had a leak in our washer and a previous leak under the bathroom sink. The team was able to address both issues and also caught a small leak in our washer hose that could have caused problems later. You can tell they put a lot of honesty and care into their work. We’ve had our fair share of bad plumber experiences, but with them, we really appreciated how we were shown the root of each problem and kept informed throughout. They also made sure to test everything multiple times to ensure the issues were fully resolved.

FAQs

Emergency questions

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Anything where water is escaping and causing damage, where you have no water at all, or where you have lost heating and hot water in cold weather. Burst pipes, a leak coming through a ceiling, an overflowing cistern, a toilet that will not stop filling, a seized stopcock you cannot turn off — all worth ringing about.

Do you answer the phone at night and at weekends?

Yes. We are on the end of the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including bank holidays. One of our Google reviews describes us attending an emergency kitchen leak at 21:00 the same evening.

How do I turn my water off?

Find the internal stopcock — most often under the kitchen sink, sometimes in a downstairs cupboard, utility room or under the stairs. Turn it clockwise until it stops. If it is seized or you cannot find it, ring us and we will talk you through the next best thing.

Water is near my electrics. What should I do?

Do not touch anything wet that is near a socket, light fitting or consumer unit. If it is safe to reach the consumer unit, switch the affected circuit off. Then ring us, and ring an electrician if anything has actually been soaked.

Will an emergency call-out cost more than a normal visit?

We will tell you the price when we understand the job, before we start work — including out of hours. You will not get a surprise figure at the end of a bad night.
